Correlating picosecond electron transfer and confined water dynamics in Prussian Blue using electrochemical two-dimensional infrared spectroscopy

Electron transfer is the simplest class of chemical transformation, formally involving only the motion of an electron. In real systems, it is intrinsically coupled to—and driven by—molecular motions. In many materials, including battery electrodes, electron transfer is limited by coupling to ionic diffusion.
